It’s spring and the alpine wildflowers are out in force. It feels like a shame to disturb this land at all, land untouched since it was glacier moraine, except for the imprints of cows and horses that have grazed it. The soil looked great when Chuck and Nick dug a trial potato patch in the top corner but it’s not far down till you starting hitting the aptly named tuf rock so it was good, hard work. And called for some refreshment.
